Driver Side Door ECU Communication Stop

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when LIN communication between the front power window regulator motor assembly LH and main body ECU stops for 10 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.

HINT:

DTC B2325 is stored when the communication between the front power window regulator motor assembly LH and main body ECU stops.

When DTC B1206 and B2321 are output simultaneously, perform the troubleshooting for DTC B1206 first .

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - REGULATOR MOTOR LH)

(a) Disconnect the H2 main body ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the M3 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H2-10 (LIN2) - M3-9 (LIN)	Always	Below 1 Ω

(d) Reconnect the main body ECU connector.

(e) Reconnect the front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

2.	CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (REGULATOR MOTOR LH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the M3 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the tables below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
M3-1 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Standard Voltage:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
M3-2 (B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V

3.	REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Temporarily replace the front power window regulator motor assembly LH with a new or normally functioning one .

(b) Clear the DTC .

4.	CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Recheck for DTCs .
